Group announces $2.2m rice farming investment

A specialised agribusiness service provider, WEMS Agro Companies Limited, has announced plans to invest about $2.2 million into rice cultivation ‎in the country.   Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, WEMS Agro Companies Limited, Mr. Rotimi Akinsola, ‎explained that the investment is aimed at boosting rice production in the country and to make Nigeria self-sufficient for the commodity. – See more at: http://farmlandgrab.org/post/view/23952#sthash.v4meZIlt.dpuf
